Ready for AI World? With less than two weeks to go until this year's conference, we've put together a quick roundup of what you should expect during your visit. The AI World Users Group is back and better than ever and offers great training, networking, and learning opportunities for attendees. Keep reading to get an overview of some of the sessions on the agenda, information on our big announcements, and learn a little more about the sponsors that will be in attendance.
What is AI World?
AI World, previously known as Users Group, is American Innovations' annual conference held exclusively for AI customers. This event is filled with informational sessions, networking opportunities, and training sessions led by our industry experts. It allows you to learn, connect, and have some fun all in one place.
This year’s theme for the conference is “Asset Management Meets Digital Transformation,” and highlights the direction in which our industry is heading and the increasing need for digital solutions to support compliance, monitoring, and the safety of our pipelines.
The event is being held Nov. 6-10 at the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center in Austin, Texas.
What to Expect at AI World 2022
We’ve got a jam-packed event this year with plenty of training sessions, social events, and learning opportunities. See an overview of what is in store for each of the conference days below:
Arrival and Registration (Sunday, Nov. 6)
If you will be arriving Sunday, you can pick up your badge and drop off your DVM for calibration from 4-7 PM in the AT&T Hotel and Conference Center foyer.
PCS Training, Support Bar, & Happy Hour (Monday, Nov. 7)
Pipeline Compliance System Training is happening on Nov. 7 at the AT&T Center. A separate registration and fee are needed to attend PCS Training. You may also drop off your DVM for calibration or head over to the Bullhorn Web Support Bar to get all your questions answered by our Bullhorn Web experts. Opening Night Happy Hour will start at 5 PM in the foyer and courtyard of the AT&T Center and features live music by the Semitones.
Informational Sessions & Keynotes (Nov. 8-9)
[Tuesday, Nov. 8]
We officially kick things off on Tuesday, Nov. 8 at the AT&T Center. President and CEO, Ed Kruft will present his opening remarks at 8:30 am and will officially welcome all attendees to this year's event. He will be followed by an incredible keynote by author, journalist, and public speaker Robert Bryce. Informational sessions will be held throughout the day on topics such as Field Data Collection, Remote Monitoring, PCS and Survey Manager, and Field Services. The CartoPac Customer Council will also be in session during various times on Tuesday, Nov. 8.
Don't forget to catch an incredibly informational session on the Mega Rule at 2 PM on Tuesday and get all the information you need on this important topic for pipeline compliance.
At 5:30 PM, head over to the Wine and Beer Bar at the mezzanine and enjoy dinner at 6 PM in Grand Salon C. From 7-9 PM we will be hosting Casino Night on Grand Salon D and E. Guests are more than welcome during any of our social events.
[Wednesday, Nov. 9]
We will be back for more learning and networking on Wednesday, November 9 at the AT&T Center. Wednesday features another exciting keynote, this time presented by retired Major General Tony Cucolo. You will find informational sessions on remote monitoring, field data collection, PCS Hosting, security strategy, cathodic protection and other topics being held throughout the day. The CartoPac Customer Council will also be holding sessions at various times on Wednesday. From 4:45 to 6 PM join us for drinks and appetizers at our happy hour event while the world-famous Mariachi Paredes de la Universidad de Texas is performing in the courtyard.
AI Headquarters Tour (Thursday, Nov. 10)
We will wrap up this year’s event with a trip to the AI Headquarters in Austin. Transportation will be provided from the AT&T Center at 8 am. Grab some breakfast with us and join us for a tour of the American Innovations facility. A hands-on outdoor demonstration will be led by AI's subject matter experts for those in attendance.

Product Announcements
A highlight of this year’s event is the unveiling of the newest generation of Bullhorn remote monitors. Guests at the event will get a glimpse of this new product and will hear directly from our team of experts about its exciting new features and design.
